Anti Inflammatory Eye Drop

The Anti Inflammatory Eye Drop is used for curing certain eye defects. The eye disorder which mainly happened such as, eye strain, eye pain, diminishing visionary power, near and far sightedness. Other visionary defects can be cured through the anti inflammatory eye drops. The visionary power are becoming an alarming problem of the eyes.

Causes of Dull Eyes

Firstly, the main causes of dull and lusterless eyes are physical and mental strain resulting from overwork, worry, fear and anxiety, faulty diet and improper blood and nerve supply. Watching too much television, films, excessive reading, reading either in dim or bright light leads to physical strain on the eyes. Dull eyes are a general symptom of a toxemic condition of the body, mainly due to excessive intake of starch, sugar and protein. The muscles and blood vessels surrounding the eyes share in the clogging process taking place due to improper metabolism by imbalanced and highly concentrated diet.

Natural Care

The first important factor in restoring normal health and sparkle to the eyes is to loosen the strained and contracted muscles surrounding them. This can be achieved through the eye muscle and neck exercise as mentioned below:

Eye Exercise

  • Keep the head still and relaxed, gently move the eyes up and down six times. Repeat the same movement 2 or 3 times. After a rest of 2-3 seconds in between.
  • Move the eyes six times from side to side, as far as possible, without any force or effort. Repeat 2 or 3 times.
  • Move the eyes gently and slowly around in a circle, and then move them low in the reverse direction. Do this 4 times in all. Rest for 2 or 3 seconds and repeat the movement 2 or 3 times, using minimum effort.

Neck exercise

  • Firstly, rotate the neck in circles and semi-circles.
  • Secondly, move the shoulders anti- clockwise briskly, drawing them up as far as possible several times.
  • Thirdly, allow the head to drop forward and backward as far as possible several times. These exercises help to loosen up the contracted neck muscles, which may restrict blood supply to head.

We know that many people cannot afford a proper diet which affect the health. Moreover, without having proper diet many people serve for some sort of the diseases. Eye problem is one of them.

Diet is of utmost importance for the health and beauty of the eyes. A healthy diet of milk, butter, fruits, green vegetables and proteins should be taken for proper care of the eyes. Natural, uncooked foods are the best diet. These include fresh fruits, green vegetables, nuts, dried fruits, and dairy products. cereals are also necessary, but they should be consumed sparingly.

Genuine whole meal bread is the best and most suitable. Denatured foods like white flour, white sugar and all products made from them, tea and coffee, together with meat and fish soon play havoc with the digestion and the body. They should, therefore, be avoided as far as possible. Constipating or wind-farming foods, alcohol and other intoxicating substances are also harmful and should be avoided.

Vitamin A

Each of the essential nutrients needed by the body plays some part in the health and beauty of the eyes. The effect of vitamin A upon the eyes is, however, most pronounced. For normal and healthy eyes, a liberal amount of vitamin A must be continuously supplement with the food. The valuable source of this vitamin are cod liver oil, whole milk, curds, butter, egg yolk, pumpkin, carrot, green leafy vegetables, tomato mango, papaya, orange and melon.

Ayurvedic Aid

Triphala, an ayurvedic preparation consisting of emblic myrobalan (Amla), Chebulic myrobalan (Hard), and Belleric myrobalan (Bahara), is consider as beneficial for long eyelashes and sparkling eyes. A teaspoon of this preparation should be soaked overnight in a cup of water. It should be poured through a muslin cloth and the eyes should be dabbed in it for a minute. Dust, smoke, draughts of very cold or very hot winds, bright objects are all harmful to the eyes and should be avoided. The eyes should also be kept protected from sunlight, and it is advisable to wear sunglasses outdoors.

Care of the skin around the eyes

The skin around the eyes is more prone to wear and tear, caused by the mechanical action of squinting and blinking. The often puffy look can be attributed to retention of oil by the skin. As a result of ageing, the muscle tone around the eye weakens and the skin loses its elasticity, resulting in the formation of crow’s feet and bags under the eyes.

To slow down the ageing process  you need to follow a few do’s and don’ts:

  • Get enough sleep.
  • Don’t rub your eyes. Rubbing stretches the thin eye skin and encourages bags.
  • Use a moisturizer- heavy on the eyelid, lighter on the under-eye – night and day.
  • Eye exercise done regularly increase blood flow to the eye.
